Membership

Our members enjoy the support of local beekeeping colleagues for sharing ideas and experiences, plus the benefit of an occasional helping hand!  We appear at community events during the year to promote the benefits of bees and beekeeping, run an annual Honey Show and hold various member talks and events during the winter.

Become a member of ABKA
As a member of ABKA, you will also become a member by default of the British Beekeepers Association and the Yorkshire Beekeepers Association, to which we are affiliated.

If you are interested in joining us, please contact our Membership Secretary via email. You will need to complete and return a membership form.  This has been revised to ensure GDPR compliance.

Renewals
Existing members please note that subs are due by 30th November at the latest, or your membership will lapse and your associated beekeeping insurance will become invalid.  Annual renewal is now done through an online system and you will receive a renewal email from our membership secretary.  Remember, we are a voluntary organisation so please help to minimise frustration and save valuable time by renewing your membership promptly.

Members are also kindly requested to complete an ABKA Gift Aid form.

Any other questions please contact our Membership Secretary.

Payment is by BACs or cheque (made payable to Airedale Beekeepers Association and sent to our treasurer).
